My Go-To Pre-Surf Recipes
I recently wrote a post about what to eat before surfing, so I thought I would share some of my favorite recipes and snacks to go along with that! Because I can’t go a day without a smoothie bowl, I included my signature bowl as well as a couple of vegetarian-friendly options.
Built by Boltz Signature Smoothie Bowl:
3 ounces of frozen banana
5 ounces of blueberries
1 BIG handful of spinach
1 scoop of protein powder
4 ounces of unsweetened oat milk (more if you want it thinner)
3 ounces of frozen riced cauliflower
Optional toppings:
15g pistachios, 10g blueberries, 15g granola
Blend and serve!
Hempy Hippie Toast
1-2 slices of bread (depending on your hunger levels and needs!)
1-2 tbs peanut butter
3 ounces of banana
1 tsp of hemp hearts
1 tsp of honey (optional)
Toast bread, slather with pb, cut bananas, sprinkle hearts, enjoy!
Black Bean Quesadilla
1 Siete Burrito Tortilla
3 ounces of black beans
1 ounce of Mexican cheese
3 ounces of mini bell peppers
Salsa for dipping
Optional: 3 ounces of chicken
Directions: Heat the tortilla in a pan over medium heat. Add beans, cheese, and chicken if desired and cook until the cheese is melted. Cut into triangles and enjoy!
